Green Party public meeting

Green Party Co-Leader Sian Berry is visiting Sheffield for a day of events and campaigning to help elect more councillors next May. Sian is a London Assembly member and Camden councillor and was the the Green Party candidate for London Mayor in 2008 and 2016. She was elected as Co-Leader with Jonathan Bartley in August 2018. Sian will speak about some of the big transport issues in the North impacting Sheffield including HS2 and the Transpennine Link but will answer questions on any subject. 6.45pm for 7pm start. Sheffield Green Party AGM follows from 8.30 to 9pm, open to non members. Pub gathering from 9pm onwards in the "Head of Steam". The meeting and AGM are open to all, you must book tickets via the link below. Refreshments will be served. There will be a collection to cover room hire and help elect more Green city councillors.There will also be a meeting with Sian aimed at Young Greens at around 4.30pm at the University of Sheffield - details to follow.Eventbrite tickets.
