Details Air pollution is estimated to lead to the premature deaths of 500 people in Sheffield every year. An expert panel including Greg Fell (Director of Public Health in Sheffield), Jane Thomas (former senior campaigner with Friends of the Earth UK), Natasha Askaroffa (Healthy Planet) and Harriet Edwards (British Lung Foundation) will discuss the health risks. In association with Sheffield Students’ Union. A Festival of Debate event, hosted by not-for-profit social enterprise Opus Independents (which also publishes the Alt-Sheff "Localcheck" column in "Now Then" magazine).
