Courage of Conscience: Uncovering World War 1 Hidden Stories

Details Young writers (16-30 yrs old) are welcome to create stories, poetry and drama about Derbyshire conscientious objectors, and the communities who resisted and questioned war a century ago. Free workshops start on Saturday 3rd October at Chesterfield Library, travel expenses provided. The work produced may be published in print and online, and performed at the June event. Workshops led by former Derbyshire Poet Laureate River Wolton, assisted by young writers Katherine Robinson and Matthew Knighton.
