||The annual family and cultural festival and celebration of the left and Labour movement in South Yorkshire moves from July to August this year. It is held in Wortley Hall, which is co-operatively owned and run, in the hands of the Trade Union and Labour Movement for decades. Set in the beautiful setting of Wortley Hall and 27 acres of quiet woodland, formal and landscaped garden. Fun for all ages, with dozens of stalls, crafts, gifts, dancers, music and entertainers, bars, food and drink. All entertainment for children is FREE including pony rides, birds of prey show, animal handling, bouncy castles, childrens rides and play area. Also this year they have a special “Frozen Arena”.
Admission is free, although there are car park charges (proceeds to charity). Bus number 29 runs every hour or two from Sheffield Interchange, get off at Wortley, then go down the drive to the hall.
