Rally to defend freedom of movement

The Tories plan to end freedom of movement, a loss of rights for millions, and on 22 November, they will announce wide-ranging measures to make life harder for all migrants in the UK. This “hostile environment”, with scandals like Windrush, makes us poorer in every way.

Join with Another Europe is Possible, South Yorkshire Migrant and Asylum Action Group and others in this rally to refuse the anti-migrant agenda, and say: hands off freedom of movement; migrants are welcome here.

Airworks Discothèque #1

The first Airworks dance party. Airworks FM are leaving the radio studio for an evening of DJing & dancing featuring an exclusive vinyl set from rising Sheffield hip-hop star Otis Mensah. The rest of the Airworks family will also be on the decks spinning jazz, house, electronica & disco.

Bring your own beer. Good vibes only, zero tolerance to racism, sexism, homophobia or any other forms of bigotry. £5 on the door to support the incredible work of Foodhall community-managed open public dining room and kitchen, bringing the people together.

Sheffield Labour Students poetry night hosted with Broomhill and Sharrow Vale Labour Party. Local poets, headlined by Rachel Bower, founder of Verse Matters. £2 suggested donation, all proceeds to South Yorkshire Refugee Law & Justice.
