Nether Edge holds its own festival for the third year running. Includes music, dancing, talks, street food and much more. Farmers' Market on Sunday 17th, (which donates profits to charity). The full programme of events can be downloaded from the website below, or pick up a paper copy at local shops.

Organised by a volunteer committee of local people and small businesses, supported by Nether Edge Neighbourhood Group and Nether Edge Farmers' Market. Many events are free, some require pre-booking.

SYMAAG Open Planning Meeting

South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG) Open Planning Meeting on what should be the campaigning priorities for 2017-18 and reviewing the goals set last year (see Annual Report 2016-2017). (Note this meeting is not 26th as arranged earlier.) All welcome, other refugee-rights, anti-racist, community and campaigning groups invited.

SYMAAG unites refugee, asylum and migrant organisations with campaign groups and supporting individuals. It campaigns both for the rights of those seeking asylum and of those coming to work in this country. See SYMAAG events page for details of forthcoming events
