Walking Politics for the Over Fifties

A walking group for socialists, feminists, environmentalists and other political progressive people over fifty. Come along for a walk to Forge Dam and back, chatting with like-minded people.

The plan is to meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday each month. To confirm, email sheffieldwalkingpoli­ or just turn up. Please wear suitable footwear for a walk beside the river.

‘This Evil Thing’ is the engaging and inspiring story of the World War One Conscientious Objector, Conisbrough Methodist minister Bert Brocklesby. Actor and playwright Michael Mears brings his one-man performance to Pitsmoor’s Christ Church. Its writing marked 100 years since conscription was bought in, in 1916.
