Public meeting: Why are so many Iranians forced to become refugees?

Thu 2 Nov 2017, 6-8pm, University of Sheffield, Arts Tower, Lecture Theatre 5, S10 2TN

This meeting is one of series seeking to connect issues of human rights, global politics and colonial legacies with why people are forced to flee their countries. Previous events have focused on Eritrea and the plan is to hold similar themed meetings on Afghanistan, Turkey and Yemen.

With songs from Arash Sabet (Singer-Songwriter) and time for questions and discussion. Event organised by South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG), Politics Society of Sheffield University and Amnesty International Sheffield. Free entry, all supporters of refugee rights welcome.

Guests are welcome to the Annual General Meeting of Principle 5, the Yorkshire Co-operative Resource Centre, based in Sheffield. Come to the Union Street co-operative to hear about the active revival of co-operation, as capitalism brings only exploitation, stress, poverty and pollution.
